美国扩张主义历史悠久，各阶段表现形式不同。进入智能科技时代，美国的扩张主义呈现新形态，特别是在高科技领域，利用科技垄断、技术封锁试图保持全球竞争优势。特朗普2.0倡导的“美国优先”政策正在推动美国实行全方位扩张主义的战略转变：在领土上，瞄准格陵兰岛、加拿大、巴拿马运河等，妄图构建“超级美利坚帝国”；在安全上，以“星链”为载体，争夺太空主导权；在金融上，借美元霸权拓展虚拟货币版图，收割全球财富。“新扩张主义”形式更为激进，影响广泛且深远，未来将会对全球文明表现出更具冲击力的外溢效应。
